Trader Joe’s September Wine Buy of the Month
Can you believe a month has gone by already? August has FLOWN and it is time again for another wine buy tip from my girlfriend Natasha! Hopefully you had a chance to try our pick for August, but if not, here’s your reminder to grab it before it’s gone!
Natasha’s Pick for TJ’s September Wine Buy of the Month: Pontificis
Pontificis: A goody and regular staple at Trader Joes
This one can’t be beat, because for just $6.99, you can have this amazing wine to go along with any dinner. I would buy this bottle any day of the week and have it basically with everything. Pontificis is a staple in our family if I’m making a wine run, this one is a no brainer. Love this bottle!
Here is the TJ’s description for this wine as taken from the Fearless Flyer:
Pontificis is crafted in France, from grapes grown in the Southern Rhone and Languedoc regions. It’s 40% Grenache, 40% Syrah, and 20% Mourvedre, a stellar blend that produces a smooth, moderately dry, deep purple hued wine with notes of blackcurrant and raspberry. A sip reveals hints of black pepper and tobacco, and finishes with a suggestion of vanilla, leading to soft, velvety tannins. Check out the article here: TJ’s Fearless Flyer: Pontificis
